“The closest they can get to Elvis in the flesh is Scot Bruce” – CNN
“Mike Albert not only looks like Elvis… He can belt it out!” - Oprah Winfrey
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Luhrs Center welcomes perennial Elvis fan favorites Scot Bruce and Mike Albert who perform as the young and old Elvis, respectively. They are widely considered the premier Elvis impersonators of our time. Scot Bruce’s Elvis act is revered all over the world. Mike Albert has been featured on Oprah Winfrey and Inside Edition, and often appears with Elvis’ original group, the Jordanaires.
The original Elvis was a legend not because of his swiveling hips or because of his carefully sculpted sideburns. The Elvis that true fans remember could sing “It’s a Wonderful World” and make you cry… he was a man who took his love for gospel and shared it through his Rock ‘n Roll… he had the magnetism of a superstar, but the sensitivity of a true artist.
Scot Bruce and Mike Albert are two masters who deliver an Elvis experience with superb reverence and a purity that will give you chills. Join us for this ultimate Elvis experience!

Few rock performers have remained as vital through the 1960’s, ‘70’s, ‘80’s and ‘90’s as have Howard Kaylan and Mark Volman. Initially they made their mark with the Turtles, then they joined Frank Zappa’s Mothers of Invention, and then they glided into their own Flo & Eddie persona, dishing out records that have encompassed a multitude of personalities.
The Turtles first single, their arrangement of a Bob Dylan song, “It Ain’t Me Babe,” was an immediate hit, quickly establishing the Turtles as a force of their own. Many more hits followed including “Happy Together,” “Elenore” and “She’d Rather Be With Me.”
Joining The Turtles are GRAMMY winners, The 5th Dimension.
In 1967, a little known vocal group called The 5th Dimension recorded a song called “Up, Up and Away” which turned out to be one of the biggest smash hits in musical history. The single won several GRAMMY Awards, the group catapulted to stardom, and their story has been one of success ever since.
The 5th Dimension has released over a dozen hit albums and received 14 gold records, 6 platinum records and 6 GRAMMY Awards. Their classics include such hits as: “One Less Bell To Answer,” “Stone Soul Picnic,” and “Aquarius/Let The Sun Shine In.”
