Shippensburg University-Community Orchestra Fall Concert

Conductor and director Mark Hartman will lead the Shippensburg University Community Orchestra in two classics of the orchestra repertoire from the classical and early romantic eras. Students, community members and professional guests will be joined by violinist Lin He who will perform the concerto in E Minor by Felix Mendelssohn, one of the greatest concertos ever written. Lin He has performed all over the country as a solo and chamber musician and is concertmaster of the Lake Charles Symphony in Louisiana. He made his Carnegie Hall debut in November, 2014. The orchestra will also perform Franz Joseph Haydn's last great symphony, known as the "London Symphony."
